Furniture is often used as a container for things, leaving the interior undiscovered. This credenza generates a greater spatial presence by initiating a prolonged and more engaging experience for the observer. The interior, is therefore an unexpected state and a foundation for which the viewer can discover the work. The interior of the piece is not meant to be hidden, rather, walked around; pondered over and through. BJDM
