Hanby House by Venn Architects

Built over three floors, Hanby House is designed around a central core, which houses utility areas, workstations, butler’s pantry, lift and access to the basement. Architects: Venn Architects Photography: Derek Swalwell
The house feels like it flows to the boundaries of the property, capturing views outside. A terraced outdoor entertaining area reaches into the garden, linking inside to out. It’s an inviting entertaining area, with built in outdoor cooking and seating, fireplace and a black mosaic-tiled swimming pool. The first floor floats over this space, creating a canopied area which can be enjoyed year round.
